For those of you who missed the Narnia display at the BPL... I took pictures. They're not great -- it was dark, and I didn't want to use a flash, both because of the glass and because I was trying to be discreet. Will try to clean them up more later, but meanwhile, here they are.

Date: 2005-11-11 02:45 pm (UTC)I've had conversations with coworkers about Narnia in the past, so knew I had to bring some back if I could. Outside of exorbitant boxes, I could only find a square smaller than a Chunky bar with a chocolate coating. Cut it in slices and gave everybody a sliver.
Everybody had the same reaction (as did I when I first tasted it): complete surprise as it's nothing like we expected from reading. I think most of us pictured something more toffee-like.
My former manager looked it up and it's apparently rosewater-based.
