Tonight: Home in time to light shabbos candles for the first time in weeks. Dinner at Joshua Tree at 9pm, then the midnight showing of the Princess Bride at the Somerville with [livejournal.com profile] ironpoet, [livejournal.com profile] mdm_sosostris, [livejournal.com profile] guxx, [livejournal.com profile] gringoddess, [livejournal.com profile] alfie1981, [livejournal.com profile] quilla, Culp, Chris, and possibly [livejournal.com profile] lillibet and [livejournal.com profile] jason237 and who knows who else we'll run into.

Tomorrow: Sleep! And help [livejournal.com profile] quilla store some stuff in my basement. And sleep some more. Maybe read a little. Then, the instant shabbos is over, hop into a car with [livejournal.com profile] jason237 and race to Culp's birthday hoohaw in Rhode Island and stay up past my bedtime again.

Sunday: PawSox game with the [livejournal.com profile] tremontstshul gang. Go to sleep at a reasonable hour. No, really.

Monday night: Fauré Requiem Summer Sing

Tuesday night: Possibly a Brockton Rox game with Sully, for more minor-league fun

Wednesday: Comedy in Shakespeare workshop (for which I still need to memorize my monologue, work on a scene from Midsummer Night's Dream I'll be doing with a partner, and oh yeah they'd like me to read Dream beforehand if I have the time, and I'm starting to get a little nervous that this thing is meant for, you know, real actors), then over to [livejournal.com profile] audioboy's to record a picture book as a birthday present for my niece, then possibly go see Hamlet on the Common (anyone?)

Thursday: Beach day with[livejournal.com profile] pheromone, then Movie Night

Friday: Fly to Philly for the weekend, get my 96-year-old grandmother to tell some stories on video, celebrate my mother, sister, and niece's birthdays, then fly back Sunday night.

The following week is booked too, but I'm tired even looking at this. It's all fun stuff, but good grief, no wonder I haven't spent enough time looking for a new job. Or a boyfriend. And this is *between* shows!

(I know [livejournal.com profile] muffyjo knows the music, but for the rest of you, check it out. Philadelphia Chickens rock.)

i adore the philadelphia chickens.

claudia and i often sing the cow song to the cats, changing the words to "cats. they're remarkable cats..."

and sometimes i chime in with "aardvarks!" (leading to a discussion of whether or not the cats could be aardvarks with very short noses)

Crap! I forgot about the Princess Bride showing.

AND I forgot about BSG (and last week's as well)

AND I forgot to listen to Deep Night on CBC Radio 1, again.

*facedesk*

*sigh*

Unrelated but amusing...

FYI--I just showed Jason (my gay husband, not Elizabeth's straight one) the picture of you and I making out. His question: why is Gilly nekkid?

From now on when I show people that picture, I'm just going to tell them you were naked. I think it makes for a better story :)

I LOVE the tunage. And it sounds like you had a lot of fun planned! Hope you enjoyed it and are thoroughly and happily worn out.
