Favorite stores

Frequently, when someone asks me where I got some piece of jewelry or another, the answer is the same -- Firefly, a little jewelry and gift shop on Newbury St.  They have a great assortment of unusual pieces at some very reasonable prices, and I never seem to make it in there without finding something that I love.  The owner, Marty, is a really nice guy, remembers me even if it's been months between visits and never pressures me to buy anything.  I really want the store to stay around, so I wanted to make sure people know about it.

So, what's your favorite unknown gem in Boston?  Any little stores or restaurants that the rest of us should know about?
