The Dubious Hills by Pamela Dean (1994)
It occurred to me that I love Tam Lin so much, it might be worth checking out some of the author's other books. These are the ones that happened to be in the BPL. I enjoyed them, but not as much as Tam Lin. Still, I'll probably see what else of hers I can find — if you happen to know her work, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Smoke and Shadows by Tanya Huff (2006)
None of the other Blood Books were available at the library, but this one was — it's the first of 3 books about Tony (a character from the books but not the TV show), strongly featuring Henry as well. I liked it, I'm planning on reading the others.
A Monstrous Regiment of Women by Laurie R. King (2000)
Another in the Sherlock Holmes series that starts with The Beekeeper's Apprentice. I love these books.
Memory in Death (In Death) by J.D. Robb (2006)
An SF series by Nora Roberts, Romance Queen. Eh. I read this series, and enjoy it when I come across a new one, but it's not really worth going out of my way for. I like her characters, in general, but I really hate some of the things she does with technology.
The Safe-Keeper's Secret (Firebird) by Sharon Shinn (2005)
First books in a fantasy YA series from the author of the Archangel series (whichlillibet turned me on to, and I strongly recommend. Especially to lifecollage. Go read it.) This was definitely younger and simpler in many ways, but I enjoyed it, and I'm curious to read some more in this world she's set up.
