playing catch-up

Wow. Apparently LJ will only let me read back 975 entries on my friends list... which is almost, but not quite, enough to catch me up since I left on the 16th. I skimmed a lot of that, but it was a nice way to get caught up on people's lives a little -- I missed you guys. Will try to post more about the trip soon, but meanwhile, there's no place like home, cold and snowy though it is!
