weekend report

Had a lovely weekend. I got caught up on my sleep again Friday night, made it to a Chanukah party at my shul Saturday night where I got to do lots of Israeli dancing, eat latkes, and hear chanaleh's Jewish a cappella group sing, then over to pheromone's where I switched the sweater for a sarong and enjoyed a taste of the tropics (and oddly enough, ended up sitting around singing Hebrew songs with one of her guests).

Sunday was a theatreatfirst steering committee meeting, a quick chance to catch up with an old T@F friend who was in Davis to be in a movie her friend was shooting, and a lovely afternoon with miss_chance wrestling with our fingers and brains to put together the colorcube she got me for Chanukah. Home in time to decorate my gingerbread menorah from lillibet and jason237 (and devour half of it immediately -- yum!) before dinner (I do love being a grown-up) and then to bed.

Only three more days until Scotland! Woohoo!
