Familiar strangers, follow-up

Last week I mentioned finally talking to someone I've been seeing around on the T for years. Friday night
jason237's brother Eric came to see the show, and as
lillibet had surmised, it turns out they work together. And in fact Chris had actually come to see the show that night, although he left before I could talk to him, so they had the surprise of seeing each other there. See, I *knew* we had some connection!
Anyway, I saw him again on the T last night, and went over and said hi. I had been a little concerned that it would be uncomfortable seeing him again -- that we would feel we had to speak, but wouldn't have much to say -- but with very little prodding on my part we ended up having a great conversation all about his wife and son who are in Switzerland for the summer, about how he got into working as a violin maker, about singing and hearing pitch, California versus Boston, and all sorts of things -- plenty of conversation to take us from Back Bay to Porter, where he gets off. Yay!
