We can dance if we want to
We can leave your friends behind
'Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're no friends of mine
It's the Theatre@First 80s Dance!
Saturday June 11, 8pm to midnight, at the First Congregational Church of Somerville, 89 College Ave. Suggested donation is $10, $7 for students and seniors. Free refreshments.
Pull on your legwarmers and push up your jacket sleeves, we're going to shake our groove thangs all night long. If you've ever worked on a T@F show, auditioned for us, been in the audience, or meant to come to a show but had some really good excuse why you couldn't make it, you're invited! Bring your friends, bring your enemies, bring total strangers. Costumes encouraged but not mandatory. Dancing also encouraged but not mandatory. Fun mandatory.
We're looking for some volunteers to come at 7:30 to help set up, and people to sign up for half-hour shifts to work the door. Volunteers get in free, and it's also a great way to participate if you want an excuse not to dance! Email gilly@postdiluvian.org if you'd like to help.
