I was just looking for versions of the Vivaldi Gloria on the iTunes Music Store, to compare soloists for my part. And I noticed that the final movement on at least one recording has been carefully labeled "XI. C*m Sancto Spiritu". Because you know that Vivaldi, he was just doing it for shock value. This must be the radio-safe version. Good grief.
Which is as good a time as any to remind you all about the concert. This *Saturday* (not Sunday, as some people may think :), 4pm, big white church in Porter Square. Full details below. I do get a few comp tickets, if price is an issue for anyone.
