Went to see Shaun of the Dead last night with [livejournal.com profile] jason237. Quite possibly the bloodiest movie I will ever voluntarily see, but it was fabulous. Very funny, very British.

Then I went home and fell gratefully into bed. And instead of having nightmares from the movie, my brain decided to be even more evil to me. I woke up somewhere around 3am. My brain said "Hey, it's after midnight. Know what that means?" "No, what?" I replied sleepily. "That means the show is TONIGHT!" "Aaaaaagggghhhh!!!"

I did eventually manage to get back to sleep, and I'm not as tired as I was yesterday, but it's going to be a looooong and twitchy day.

24 hours before a show goes up my script gets locked in a drawer. I will not look at it, I will not look at my design, I will do nothing which starts me second-guessing myself. But that's just me. :-)

Yeah that was an awesome film, coming from someone who never saw the referenced film, "Night of the Living Dead" in completion. But Shaun was so damned funny, I was having body spasms of hysterics throughout the film!

As for your play tonight, break a leg! I was thinking of showing up and quoting the bible about "the blood of thy saints" and not "the blood of thy angels" which last time turned into "the blood of blah."
