Vacation!

Starting to get psyched for my vacation. I'm planning to go into New York for a week, going in Monday the 14th and coming back the next Sunday. I figure I'll check out MacWorld a bit, get to go to the Romance Writers of America book signing and meet some favorite authors, and catch some shows and eat as much good kosher food as humanly possible. Still not entirely sure where I'll be staying, though. When I went in for New Year's I stayed at my cousin's place on the Upper West Side, but she's now engaged and mostly moved in with her fiancé, so her place may or may not still be available, I'm waiting to hear. Could crash with Katy some of the time, but a whole week would be a little much. I'm starting to think I might try to find a cheap hostel room; it looks like there are some out there that have singles for $60, and it would be worth the money to me to have my own space (and air conditioning!). If this is going to be my vacation, I want to make sure it's relaxing, not more stressful.
