Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all those who helped me celebrate my birthday, from its beginning at the party last night, to my party today which started at 2 pm (and people actually showed up in the first hour!) and ended just before 11 when I kicked everyone out so I could get some sleep, to those who couldn't be there in person but sent wishes. Thanks for all the hugs, kisses, backrubs, food, and conversation. Thanks to all my various groups of friends for being so excellent and playing well with others. Thanks for playing along with me and dressing up. Thanks for being gratifyingly appreciative of the silly little hula I've been practicing for weeks, and for making me feel loved and lovely. You're all beyond fabulous, and life is good.

this was the only weekend i had busy for, like, ever, and i was doing the 48 hour film challenge and had *4* different parties to go to on saturday night, one of which was thrown by my roommates. needless to say, i didn't make it to all of those. sunday was entirely consumed by hangover and film editing.
