Pirate books
Nov. 5th, 2008 04:14 pmMy soon-to-be-six-year-old niece is having a pirate birthday party this year. Any of my chlit or librarian friends happen to know of a good read-aloud pirate picture book for my sister to read at the party? Thanks!

And I haven't read this one, but a reviewer quoted a line that goes: "Do Pirates Have Birthdays? Of course they do--with presents and games and lots of soda pop. The cook makes a cake with doubloons inside and a skull-and-bones on top." (Of course the cake is bright pink with a happy skull and bones on top.)
