Anne just called me. Her boss told her this morning to watch her pennies, that some change may be coming down the line in a few months. So the apartment is off again. If you see anything in the papers about a murder in Somervile tonight, that'll be me.

What does Anne do? How much does she need to make? Does she have a car?

She works at one of the libraries at Harvard (I'm not sure doing exactly what), and she doesn't have a car. She'd definitely not a techie. At this point, if we can't get that place together, I'm just as happy to live without her -- this has not been a pleasant experience. But thanks.
