Providence airport

OK, I could swear someone had posted something about this somewhere on LJ, but I can't seem to find it there or on Google. Isn't there some new shuttle service to the Provide airport? Anyone have a clue? Thanks!

The last couple of times I flew to/from Providence, I used this shuttle to get from the Providence commuter rail station to/from the airport. It's once an hour, $11.

I know they're planning to extend the commuter rail to the airport directly, and have a vague impression that was supposed to happen this year sometime...

Seconding Cos, I used those guys last time when I came back from my Thanksgiving trip. Was very handy and convenient. (of course then I took the Commuter Rail back to Boston during morning rush hour..that one "not so much")

And they do keep talking about expanding the Purple Line to TF Green. I'll be quite happy when it happens.

If you're looking for cheaper travel there is also a shuttle service between Sullivan Station and the Manchester Airport. I haven't tried them so I don't know how good and/or pricey they are.

IIRC, the Manchester shuttle is free as long as you have a boarding pass or e-ticket or whatever to show them you're an actual passenger.

I'd posted a while ago about a new shuttle to Manchester, but I don't know of one to Providence.
