Blues Clues

I watch Blues Clues with my sister's kids when I visit sometimes. My sister and I always looked at the human on the show, Steve, and said "That poor guy's never going to get laid."

I think I was wrong.

Oh my.

By the way he passed off the show to someone else. I really don't like what it's turned into.

Now Blue talks and has a time when she's a muppet and she's in her room. Also, the clues now draw themselves and are anthropormorphic. They talk and sing and such. It no longer shows you how to draw these things. I'm bummed. I thought it was a great way to teach kids how to draw simple pictures.

I think there are actually two shows now. There's the normal Blues Clues, only with Joe instead of Steve. And there's Blue Talks, which is the one you're talking about, which I don't like either.

I spent two summers working in the theatre at Steve's alma mater (Allentown College, now Desales University). Once he came to visit and went out drinking with all the actors and crew after our show. And I can tell you, he's as foul-mouthed and foul-minded as the rest of 'em (theatre people). He went on at length about how he had the producers of Blue's Clues by the balls and he had threatened to leave the show unless his character got less lame.
