Posted this a few days ago, but I hadn't realized that not everyone had been notified yet. Oops. But I am now told I'm officially allowed to share the news, so here it is!

I am thrilled to announce that I will be playing the part of Arlene in Matterhorn in T@F's fifth annual (can you believe it?) summer one-act festival, Festival@First: Fools F'Orloff. Usually I go into the one-acts without any real preconceived notions about what part I want, but since we had the initial reading, I've been really hoping for this part. And I know as always we had a ton of incredibly talented people auditioning, so really I'm just happy to have gotten cast at all!

Congrats! I didn't realize that they'd already announced casting choices. Thanks for posting this, as now I won't have to spend the day worrying about whether I got in or not. It's always the worst part of the audition process; and I hate that long period of waiting to see if they're going to contact you or not!

First, congrats Gilly!

Second, they haven't been announced -- the directors have begun notifying people and they do that at their own pace. It won't be announced until everyone has been contacted and confirmed.

I was explicitly told not to say anything until things were public, but Gilly's director must not have said that.

Congratulations on getting cast in the One-Acts, Gilly! Alas, no such luck for me, but I am excited to come and see you. I know that you'll be quite busy with rehearsals, but if you would like to get together sometime for a quick bite and an earring exchange, let me know!

PS--I ran through our 1.19 lines the other day, and I was surprised to find that I still remembered them...encore performance anyone? :)

Thanks! I was so sad not to see your name on the list. Next time, right? And yes, I definitely want to get together! We have the first read-through tonight, so hopefully I'll have a better idea of my upcoming schedule soon.

I think we should expand on the scene and write a new play. What about Hero and Ursula go to White Castle?
