Hey, I wonder if you could get corporate sponsors?
Some couple tried that a couple of years ago, kind of. They tried to sell naming rights for their as-yet-unborn child. To corporations. Thus, they'd be raising AOL Smith or Chrysler Smith, etc.
Restoring just a tad of my faith in humanity, no company actually took the bait. But I cannot recall what the parents ended up naming the kid.
