Books 112-114
Sep. 11th, 2006 07:47 am112. The Nasty Bits — Anthony Bourdain
113. Definitely Dead — Charlaine Harris
114. Up From Orchard Street — Eleanor Widmer
You Can Never Find a Rickshaw When It Monsoons: The World on One Cartoon A Day — Mo Willems
I'm not counting the last towards my total because I didn't read the whole thing and because it's just a book of cartoons, but I wanted to mention it because I thought some of you might enjoy it. This is by the author of the children's book Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. Right out of college he went trekking around the world, and each night he drew one person or thing that had caught his interest that day. These are those sketches, along with his more recent remembrences about them.
