Jul. 29th, 2004 07:08 amWell, apparently when all the concert info said "rain or shine" they meant "rain or shine but not vague predictions of possibly thunderstorms". So the Pops/JT concert was postponed until tonight, when I can't make it, but
jmspencer and I went to see Delovely, anyway, which I've been wanting to see since I first say the previews. I enjoyed it a lot and cried buckets, which is always fun in movies. We were both very goo and managed not to sing along too audibly (I hope) until the end credits. Cole Porter wrote the best songs. Altogether a very pleasant evening. And tonight I get to see
chanaleh's dress rehearsal, then off to Philly to surprise Mom for her birthday in the morning.
Oh, and I have to remember to leave keys for my new roommate so she can start moving in on Sunday. I'm a little nervous, given that my last roommate started out great and then turned into a raving psycho bitch. This one seems fine, and we seem to be on the same page as far as wanting our own space and not expecting to hang out or dump problems on each other or anything, but it's still always hard learning to live with a new person.
