Wow. Apparently LJ will only let me read back 975 entries on my friends list... which is almost, but not quite, enough to catch me up since I left on the 16th. I skimmed a lot of that, but it was a nice way to get caught up on people's lives a little -- I missed you guys. Will try to post more about the trip soon, but meanwhile, there's no place like home, cold and snowy though it is!

That seems about right. The skip= parameter won't accept 4-digit numbers.

If you'll be in this kind of situation in the future, it can be helpful to split your flist into two (or more) filters (even just a-m and n-z), which will each allow you back 975, thus doubling (or more) the number of entries you can read.

Ah, smart! Thanks. In fact, I suppose I could still do that now, but I feel like reading 975 entries was plenty :)
