I had forgotten cons could even be that much fun. Had a fabulous time in my various roles with Red Shift, the Naughty Nurses, and the Con Chair's Entourage, as well as lots of fun parties with much dancing, flirting, cuddling, and talking. Made some new friends and got to know some old ones better. Got lots of compliments on my assorted get-ups. Enjoyed performing onstage five times in multiple roles. And I even made it to one panel!

I had been a little nervous about going on my own -- I knew I'd know lots of people there, but I didn't have set plans to hang out with anyone in specific. Last year I had done that and ended up spending a fair bit of time feeling a little bored and lonely. This year I couldn't turn around without running into fabulous people to hang out with. I didn't even make it to all of the parties I had meant to, and I was up until 3am Friday night and 4am Saturday!

Thanks so much to kalessin for heading up a fabulous shindig, as well as all the other magnificent Arisia staff folks who made it happen.
