Philly -> Boston delivery?

Is anyone driving from Philly to Boston at some point in the future and willing to transport a largeish picture?

One of the things I asked for of my grandmother's was a large framed piece of artwork from her trip to Thailand many years ago, but it's too large and heavy to ship easily, and I generally fly to Philly and somehow can't imagine that I could bring it as carry-on.

There's no particular rush, my parents will hold it for my as long as necessary, but I thought I'd ask around and see if there's an LJ Express running at some point. :) My parents are in Bala Cynwyd (near the erstwhile Adam's Splat hotel, home of Philcon) but would be happy to bring it wherever necessary in the Philly area. Thanks!

My relatives are quite close by and will almost certainly venture up this-a-way soon. Exact timing depends on my stepmom's recovery from surgery, but if you don't have a sooner response ping me in a couple weeks.

Thanks. The surgery was for a cochlear implant so the recovery is probably minimal compared to what comes after.

My sister is coming up for Thanksgiving. She lives 15/20 minutes North of Philly across the border into NJ.

I'm sure she would drive up the picture (if it fits in her car, and if she's driving), but, knowing her, if she had to be inconvenienced in any way what-so-ever, she wouldn't do it.

So, I can check and see if she's driving, then,n if your parents are willing to drive to my sister's house, she would bring it up. (I, of course, would be happy to drive it from my place to yours!)

jweiss and I are driving down PA this very next weekend. According to Google, our route passes not all that far from Philly. I'm not certain exactly how much spare time there will be in our itinerary, or how long that distance is, but if it works out, we would be happy to pick up your art.
Is Villanova a place your folks would bring art to?
