You get two free bracelet kits, and Merck Pharmaceuticals donates $1 for cervical cancer research. They're trying to educate about the connection between cervical cancer and HPV. The bracelet looks cool, it's a good cause, and as far as I can tell it seems to be legit.

This is a worthy cause from a great pharmaceutical company. The worthiness of "bracelet" defined in a medical dictionary is another matter:

According to Dorlands Medical Dictionary at mercksource.com, a bracelet is defined as a small encircling band, denoting, in the plural, transverse markings across the palmar surface of the skin of the wrists.
