10. The Hundred and One Dalmations — Dodie Smith
11. Crazy in Love — Luanne Rice
12. Doctor Who: The Shooting Scripts — Russell T Davies

I was surprised to realize that in the original 101 Dalmations the dogs had a poly relationship going; somehow Disney seems to have edited that out...

The Doctor Who is the scripts for the 2005 season with Christopher Eccleston. They're going to be broadcast in the US on the Sci Fi channel starting in March. I was never that big on the old show, and in fact I don't like much Sci Fi TV in general, but this show is fabulous — give it a shot if you can.

I am so surprised someone else has read this! Most people don't know it exists but it is one of my favorite books. I have read it every few years and it never gets old.

Its a favorite of mine as well. I can't remember, were you part of the conversation a few weeks ago where we were talking about I Capture the Castle?

**shame**

I know -- you were the one I was having the conversation with! I just couldn't remember if [livejournal.com profile] bismuthobsidian was part of it too.

What's the third book? I've only read the two.

Yay! I've made it a personal project to get as many people to read it as possible - though Gilly didn't need my help, she found it on her own. But I did make all my female relatives read it over winter break.

How was the book version of the DrWho versus watching it? I read many novelizations of earlier episodes and wasn't that impressed. The best ones were ones that I'd seen broadcast so I could "hear" the right voices in my mind. I'm not sure I'd like reading stories I hadn't seen yet.

Thanks, that's what I expected. I'll hold off on the book, then.
