Tomes III logoWhat was that? The squeak of a book cart behind you? The hint of a laugh at your expense? No, it couldn't be...

Nor can that be the smell of old tomes being shelved and stacked for you. BUT IT IS! Three tales of terror and woe are shaking off their cobwebs and wish to return to the world of the living. Your world...

Huddle there in your false safety. For when October draws to an end Tomes of Terror III arrives!

First you will see the horrific Halloween jokes and pranks of Baby Snooks!
Then you will see the gothic terror as a simple fox hunt destroys lives in Reynardine!
Finally you will witness the vicious slaughter and uncontrollable terror of The Tell-Tale Heart!

The scares return, this year, for four performances, only! Wednesday, October 29th, Thursday, October 30th, Friday, October 31st and Saturday, November 1st at the Unity Church of God in Somerville, MA (note new location!).

TOMES OF TERROR II!

Did you hear that? That faint crackle from your radio? No...it couldn't be. But yes...the ghosts of radio programs past are coming back for three nights of unrelenting horror. (Now with cowboys!)

The Post-Meridian Radio Players are bringing back the Librarian with a new collection of terrifying tales:

Witness a Halloween party presented by the cast of Our Miss Brooks. Skeletons! Ghosts! School Principals! Oh my!

Hear the chilling Victorian tale of a sensuous vampire, Carmilla, as she stalks her next pretty young victim.

Then, when you can stand no more, we present our third tale, The Stone Ship. It's a ghastly tale of ghostly galleons on the high seas. When it's over, you can tell yourself it was all just a story...

Immerse yourselves in these three old-time radio tales of terror—complete with live sound effects and music—on Monday, October 29th, Tuesday the 30th or on Wednesday October 31st, the spookiest night of the year. All three shows begin at 7:30pm.

Come in costume and you may win a prize!

$12 for adults. $10 for students/seniors. We'll be presenting at the First Congregational Church of Somerville (89 College Ave.)
Reserve your tickets by E-mailing: tickets AT pmrp DOT org or on our website at http://www.pmrp.org

Want to get in for free? E-mail House Manager Chris at cdkboston AT earthlink DOT net and volunteer to help out!

I'll be performing in a live radio drama, penned by [livejournal.com profile] derspatchel (so you know it'll be good!), at Arisia on Sunday. 1pm in Presidential Ballroom D.

Bits for those who aren't already registered:
The convention is being held at the Cambridge Hyatt. If you're not going for the whole con, the day rate for Sunday is $25. That will let you in to any programming, the dealer's room, the art show, etc. There's a membership cap, and they're getting pretty close to it now, but they expect that some people will be leaving before Sunday so they'll be able to let in some day-registrants. (And if you are planning to come for the whole con, you should really register now! In fact, if you're only planning to come for Saturday, your best bet is still to register for the whole con now.)
