Had a lovely day off Tuesday. It was so nice to have a free day in the middle of the week when stores were open. I meant to sleep in, but woke up early and read my email, and there was a message from Hawkegirl about designing a t-shirt. So of course instead of going back to sleep I got all caught up in designing. Went out around 10, had a nice breakfast at Soleil in Teele, finally got around to taking some clothes to a tailor for hemming, got my hair cut and highlighted, and just wandered around Somerville for hours, going into all the little shops that are always closed by the time I get home. Started on bits of my holiday shopping. Met Hawkegirl and her eldest at Diesel and spent a few hours with the gang there, then went to choir and finally got home around 10pm. A much longer day than usual, but it felt like such a gift. I think I need to take mental health days more often.
