Well, on the plus side, this weather made defrosting my freezer -- a very long overdue chore -- much, much faster. The inch-thick sheet of ice that came off the back of the freezer in one chunk was really nice and cool to play with. And now I have room for the quart of Starbucks Java Chip that I'm trying valiantly not to eat in one sitting.

So, anyone up for an air-conditioned movie tonight?

Oh lord. I was willing to see anything just for the air conditioning, but I forgot about that one.

The point is to be able to sleep in comfort at some point tonight, and I think that movie might defeat that. :)

The yard sale rocked on until about 4:00, and he made enough to cover his flight to Mexico with more to spare! It was great hanging out with you. We must hold him to his promise of taking us out to dinner. :-)

That's fabulous. I went by the house on my way for ice cream, but it looked like you were gone. It was a lovely morning, though -- well, the part about hanging with you was lovely, although the weather, not so much -- and we'll definitely have to take him up on that dinner!
