gilanaI love catalogs. They make such great bathroom reading, and in addition to making for easy holiday shopping, it's fun to keep a when-I-get-rich list. I thought I'd share a few of my favorite catalogs that you might not know about here.
J Peterman -- The absolute best bathroom reading. They sell incredibly expensive (but high quality) clothing , but each piece has a watercolor picture and an evocative story.
Uncommon Goods -- funky gifts and household goodies, many handmade.
Acorn -- "Exceptional entertainment, imaginative gifts, uncommon quality." Fun gifties, clothing, and DVDs.
Bas Bleu -- "Champion of the odd little book… and your source for inspired gifts and accessories for readers." I usually have to reserve a few books at the library after getting this one.
And then of course there are The Pyramid Collection, Signals, Femail Creations, What on Earth... but that's enough for now.
What am I missing? Do you get any good ones I should know about?

Ages ago, at a library conference, I got on the mailing list for McFarland Publishers, and their catalogs are always a fun read chock full of nifty books...
