Well, I saw a very faint exhibition of them. Not the exciting display you see pictures of, just mostly a light glow in the sky that at first we thought was the light from a distant city, except there was no city there.

Huh. I thought of the northern lights as a little mundane; who hasn't? But then, I realised not everyone grew up at 51° north. The best was one Hallowe'en when the sky was all green-blue curtains of moving light as we drove down the dark country roads.

The Nonprofit Outreach Network -- we provided free web design and hosting to nonprofit organizations. I was the president, web designer, cook and chief bottle washer; John funded it, and Lang was also on the board. It turned out to be too much for me to manage alone, but it was an interesting experience.

I forget exactly when that was... pretty sure it was after I worked at Eitz Chayim. It was down to about 1/8", not skin, but I think that still counts!
