we have an urgent need to find a wheelchair-accessible (that means, no stairs for entry -- first floor with ramp or elevator, etc.; wide door frames; studio / open floor plan can be a plus...) ideally we're looking in the greater Cambridge/Somerville/Medford vicinity, but we'll consider the right space no matter where it is...we're desperate for the right space. Occupancy is needed 9/1 or 10/1.
1-2BR ~1000SF+ or or 2-3BR ~2000SF+ small one would be for a couple; large one would be for couple+1. Proximity to Red Line a major plus but not a requirement. Reasonable T commute to Kendall required; reasonable drive commute to Burlington Mall vicinity required for larger unit. $1500 max for the small, $3000 max for the large, if heat is included. Obviously, cheaper is better, and mandatory if not including heat.
MUST have 1 BR, 1 BA, kitchen and most common space on main level without stairs. Additional BA, BR, even some common space, *can* be stair-separated. live/work artist or semi-industrial space would be best -- but *ALL* options considered.
