I'll be performing in a live radio drama, penned by [livejournal.com profile] derspatchel (so you know it'll be good!), at Arisia on Sunday. 1pm in Presidential Ballroom D.

Bits for those who aren't already registered:
The convention is being held at the Cambridge Hyatt. If you're not going for the whole con, the day rate for Sunday is $25. That will let you in to any programming, the dealer's room, the art show, etc. There's a membership cap, and they're getting pretty close to it now, but they expect that some people will be leaving before Sunday so they'll be able to let in some day-registrants. (And if you are planning to come for the whole con, you should really register now! In fact, if you're only planning to come for Saturday, your best bet is still to register for the whole con now.)

Happy birthday dear [livejournal.com profile] lillibet! I wish you a wonderful year, with your new baby and your family of both birth and choice. You deserve all the best, and I'm glad you're finally getting it.

Elephant Tramp — George Lewis, as told to Byron Fish
The autobiography of a man who worked with elephants, mainly in circuses and zoos. I love circuses and the elephants are one of my favorite parts, so I enjoyed this.

Anybody Out There? — Marian Keyes

Comfort Me With Apples — Ruth Reichl

California Demon — Julie Kenner
This series is basically a Buffy rip-off; the main character is a demon-slayer who quit slaying, got married, had kids, and then got called back into active duty, but her family knows nothing about her secret life. The first one, Carpe Demon, was pretty good, but I didn't think this one was as good, and there's pretty clearly going to be another.
