You Can't Take It With You
Apr. 27th, 2006 04:52 pmI keep thinking I should post something about You Can't Take It With You, but I don't really seem to have much to say about it. I'm only in one scene, so I haven't had that many rehearsals until recently. I like my character, and I think I'm doing some fun stuff, but I don't know that I'm really growing a lot as an actor in the part.
We did a cue-to-cue last night, and I finally got to hear
audioboy's fabulous sound effects and
journeystar's spectacular props and see our special effects -- way beyond anything T@F has done before, I can't wait to see the audience reaction.
Mostly, I'm enjoying the cast bonding that's finally starting to happen. We've got a few new people that I like a lot, and I feel like we're really starting to gel as a group. I'm looking forward to running the whole show with lights and costumes. Can't believe we open a week from tonight! I think it's going to be a really fun show, from both sides of the stage.
(Oh, and the userpic is the Kirby family in the show, courtesy of
mangosteen. Handsome family I have there.)
