Start Halloween early! Join us in Davis Square on Friday, October 14 at 8 pm for a night of spooky radio drama and more.

The Post-Meridian Players present their first live show:

Chicken Hearts and Other Parts

including:
  • a live 1937 radio drama, Arch Obler's Chicken Heart
  • Erasure, a short story reading by local author Jennifer Pelland
  • Improv PoetryProse by voice artist Lindsay Ellison
  • The Atlantis Affair, a sci fi/horror radio drama by Alex Feinman
  • and a showing of a clip of the film The Ballad of Burd Janet.

Come laugh, get creeped out, and support the arts in Somerville.

Tickets are only $10. There are discounts for students, seniors, and groups of 10 or more, so bring your friends! All profits will be used to produce an independent film being made locally by filmmaker Chelsea Spear, The Ballad of Burd Janet.

You can reserve tickets by calling 617-669-4391 or online.

The show will be presented at First Congregational Church of Somerville, located at 89 College Ave. in Somerville, 4 blocks from the Davis Square stop on the Red Line. It is completely accessible to the physically challenged.

My parents are coming in from Philly to see the show! They'll be arriving Sunday November 13 at 10:04am. Would anyone be able to drive me to the airport to pick them up? I can T in to meet them if necessary, but it would certainly be nicer for them not to have to deal with the T first thing :)
