Nov. 2nd, 2004 12:54 pmWe had our tech run for Murder last night. It was so cool to finally see the show with lights and sound -- it really makes a difference. We got a little silly at places, and it was fun to relax and enjoy it and not worry about giving 100% energy for a change. I can't wait to finally do it for an audience and finally get some of that energy back.

And on another note... I love my Mom. She called me at work yesterday and said "Now don't get upset, but your father and I spent this weekend making our funeral arrangements." She said they had a lovely time touring the funteral home, which also has a museum of Norman Rockwell paintings. She apparently made the funeral director a little uncomfortable by answering questions flippantly. "What do I care? I'll be dead." We had a nice laugh about what to put on her headstone -- she says they picked out the template but left a few lines for us to come up with something, like "Beloved Football Player". I love her irreverent sense of humor, and I really love that she's thought to make these arrangements (and pay for them) and let us know, so that I won't ever have to deal with making those decisions for them.
