catching up

I visited my sister in Harrisburg this weekend. Got to have fun playing auntie (although I did run for my life when my older niece threw up, and nearly levitated later when she was sitting on my lap and started coughing). My parents came in as well, although my brother couldn't make it. And my sister gave me my birthday present -- diamond earrings! A pair of tiny princess-cut studs for the extra holes in my right ear, since I always seem to leave a pair of studs in there, and her theory is that if you're always going to wear the same earrings, they should be diamonds. I like this theory.
All in all a lovely weekend.

But boy have I paid for it this week. Work has been insane. I was at work until 8pm Tuesday, skipping choir, 7:30pm Wednesday, and only left on time yesterday to get to tap class. Our office is moving this weekend, so I have to be packed and out by noon today, and I've been too busy trying to get all my work done to pack. The plan is to go in now and throw everything into boxes, then go out to lunch with work friends. And that's about all I'm up to today, after staying up too late watching that game. Sigh.
