Man, am I beat. We just ran three of the most emotional scenes in the play at rehearsal tonight, each of them multiple times. I have only a few lines in the first scene and none at all in the other two, but I'm putting all the energy and emotion I can into just being present, and parts of them actually bring me to tears, of both sorrow and joy. Amazing how exhausting simply listening can be, and how tiring it can be to just sit still with enough intensity. Man, those scenes are powerful. Luckily, there's some mighty funny stuff to balance it out. I cannot wait until we start getting to run the full play consistently. And I *really* can't wait until you all get to see it!
