With white sneakers, I wear either white socks or socks to match my shirt or pants. With black shoes, I wear black socks. Since women's socks are more expensive and thinner weave, I buy black athletic socks in the men's department.
On days when I'm in the mood, I will wear Muppets or zoo animals or something else entertaining.
