Business cards for a writer with a focus on the Elizabethan era. She showed me some samples images from a book that appealed to her, I noticed a page from a book that looked like this, and suggested she use the business card as a short writing sample.  I love designing really personal business cards like this, that can visually give you so much more information than just the contact info!

You know, I'm not sure. Did a quick search; none of the vendors I've used so far offer them, but I think the Slutcracker uses PrintPlace and has been happy with them, and they seem to offer custom dies -- you could ask for a quote! I also found PrintShaq.com -- no experience with them, but I just ordered a sample kit.

What kind of die were you thinking of?

Oh, you know, something with telephone poles, wires, roof peaks.... ;-)

Heh. Cute. Might be hard to keep that structurally sound, but I love the idea. Mm, it would be cool to do a duplex card like that, with the front layer diecut and then a colored layer behind it, so you'd get both the support and the effect.
