The Proclaimers, who I first discovered on my Scotland trip, are coming to Boston! Unfortunately, of course they're playing on a Friday night. September 16 at the Paradise. Sigh. Hope someone else can go!

Crap. I love that band. I don't have the restrictions you do, but I am working that night (playing on a booze cruise) and also can't see them. I feel your pain!

Well, I like them a lot, but it's not quite worth a trip to NYC or Philly. Hopefully this means they'll tour again some time.
