1 - (Oops, I knew there were two of some letter!) I don't think I have read anything else by him. Hoot was ok, but nothing amazing. Do you have any particular recommendations?
2 - I loved I Capture the Castle, was very sorry to see it end! But I could see it not being someone's taste or topic.
1 - (it's okay, I spelled it wrong for ages!) The first book I read was SKIN TIGHT and it was excellent. I also own Sick Puppy, Stormy Weather and Basket Case (which was also super-excellent). I've also read Tourist Season and Lucky You. Lucky You was also pretty good. Really, ALL of the ones I've read were good but those (Skin Tight, Basket Case, Lucky You) are the ones I'd recommend first.
2 - I'm sure it is great - but I was suffering some seriously unrequited love (or rather, originally requited but distanced and possibly unrequited due to mental instability on the part of my partner) and I just... it hurt too much. I thought, if this ends well, it will highlight everything I've lost. If this ends badly, it will only make me feel worse. I'll read it someday. I just couldn't read it THEN.
