weekend update
I took Friday off of work and played hooky with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
muffyjo -- we ended up spending a fabulous day in Rockport. Incredible sunny weather, lots of fun browsing around stores, including one filled with stunning stained glass, fried food and fudge, plus a wonderfully relaxing ride on a schooner. Exactly the sort of escape I needed. I got home just in time to make dinner before shabbos started, and then fall into bed for a full night's sleep. Woke up this morning and managed to get myself off to shul before I rationalized myself out of it; it was nice to get outside for a bit, and nice to see folks at shul, although half of the congregation is apparently at Worldcon. Hanging out at home catching up on Queer Eye tonight, and apparently tomorrow will be an ice-cream mini-golf adventure. And then I'll still have a free day before I have to go back to work! Yay, long weekends.
