While I have not heard anything back from the mayor of Somerville or the newspapers about the letters I wrote (see here for those of you who are behind), I did get a fabulous letter back from Denise Provost, the president of the board of aldermen.

80s night

Had a fabulous time last night at chanaleh's 80s night at Tremont St. Never one to pass up a chance to play dress-up, I managed to pull together a pretty decent costume. chanaleh and some others were dressed up too, so I didn't have to feel silly. kalessin DJed and had me dancing my ass off all night, making up for the time I missed in the actual 80s. We finally stopped the music a little before 1am, and then somehow a bunch of us ended up at IHOP. Got home at 4:30am. I haven't had a night like that in the longest time, and it was a total blast.
